5/20/05- New Information from the USDA

Today, the USDA updated several pieces of information on the markets. We note the following comments:

• Milk output is up from last year, and the demand of cream for the ice cream market is slightly lower than usual.

• Milk production in April was up 3.2% from last year.

• Cheese production and demand were relatively in-line with each other.
